A celebration of Janice's life will be held in her hometown of Matamata in The Rosa Chapel, Tamihana Street, on Thursday, 5 August 2021 at 11am followed by the burial at The Matamata Cemetery. In 2014 she moved to Boonville, Indiana to be closer to her kids and grandkids, and worked as cashiers at both McDonalds and Wal-Mart, where she absolutely loved her customers. She is survived by : her husband Gene Smith of Pine Ridge; her children, Michael Smith of Austin, Robert Smith of Valley Springs, Texas, Julie Ringstaff of East Tawakoni and Kandy Daughtery of Bullard, Texas; and her brothers, Bill Ray and Sam Ray of Burnett, Texas.
