Modupe Idowu who is the founder and head mixologist of Dees cocktails; a Nigerian mobile bar and premium beverage company that believes in telling stories and excellence through drinks and cocktails has been crowned the 2nd Lady Amarena Nigeria after a stiff competition.
A lover of cartoons and novels, she spends her spare time traveling, reading, experimenting with new flavors and recipes.
The new Lady Amarena Nigeria winner hails from Delta State, Nigeria and came all the way from Warri to Lagos for the final.
Grace Suleiman emerged as the first runner up and Chigolum Moka was the second runner up in the contest.
“Winning this competition means a lot to me,” Modupe said after being crowned Lady Amarena Nigeria winner for 2021/2022..
“I see myself starting my own bartending school in the South – South region of Nigeria within the next five years.”
“I like to encourage ladies who are into the art of bartending to always give competions like this a chance as it is an opportunity to put Nigeria on the international map and give you the platform to network with other people and see the world from a different perspective.”
Modupe went home with a Vitamix Commercial Blender worth over N700,000, branded Fabbri items and packs of Fabbri Syrups (Mixybar) and the star prize of an all-expense paid trip to Bologna, Italy where she will compete against bar ladies/mixolgist from around the world at the global final of the Lady Amarena Competition in September, 2022.
All other contestant received goodie bags and gift items for their participation in the final of the Lady Amarena Competition, 2022. There was no registration fee to enter for the competition in a bid to be all-inclusive and to prevent financial restraints on the part of young ladies who are truly deserving of the ultimate title.
